Historic Kenwood is a bike ride away just West of Downtown St. Petersburg and it is a very vibrant, artsy community. Although more affordable than the Historic Old Northeast, prices are continuing to climb since this community is so close to downtown. Historic Kenwood is also known for having more craftsman homes per square mile than anywhere else in the Southeast!
Historic Kenwood is also only a few blocks North of the Grand Central District. The Grand Central District is now one of the hippest and artsy areas in St. Pete. This makes Historic Kenwood more valuable as one can just walk to antique and alternative stores, bars, restaurants or even a new “Dog Bar” where you can mingle with other like minds! From the Grand Central District heading to the East, you fall into another new and hip area on CENTRAL AVENUE called The Edge. This is a walk or a bike ride away from Historic Kenwood and it’s home to many breweries, bars, restaurants and the like. Homes in Historic Kenwood start in the high 200’s.
